With tens of thousands of catalog parts options, you may not be entirely certain if a part is the right fit for your application. Try before you buy with the Free Sample program at Caplugs.
Requesting a Sample
Once you've located a part you'd like to try, you can add a sample to your cart either from the line item or specific item view.
Line Item View
On the line item view, simply click "FREE SAMPLE" on the part you'd like to sample and one will be added to your cart.
Specific Item View
If looking at a part from the specific item view, you can also easily add a sample to your cart by clicking the "FREE SAMPLE" button here.
Checking Out
Once your free sample or samples have been added to the cart, you can simply check out as normal. By default, Caplugs ships sample parts within 24-48 hours using USPS delivery, so no tracking is available. If you need a sample expedited or need to include tracking, you can check out using your own shipping information and we will process the request using your preferred shipper account.
Sample Limits
Typically customers are limited to one sample per product, however we understand in some circumstances, additional samples may be appropriate to confirm performance or fit. Please chat with our experts and/or add a note when completing your order if you need additional parts and we will try to accommodate your request if possible.
